I have often heard the Christian reasoning for why God must disapprove of homosexuality expressed as “God created Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve.” Well, that’s fine, I guess, but, Steve was created. I don’t know if he and Lilith were out shopping when the reporters showed up to document the story, but a big piece of it is missing.
In any case, this isn’t about violence, it’s about a revolution of thought and changing the way we think of one another in such strict terms: man/woman, gay/straight, black/white
