Sometimes, I think that the reason that so many Republicans and other conservatively minded-folk have a problem with gays is that all they know of gays is married Republican senators in airport restrooms. I don’t know if they know this or not, but any time a politician comes down on any gay issue, the countdown clock begins to when they will be caught in flagrante delicto with some call boy, dusted with crack. I feel awful for the women who must endure that ultimate betrayal. Here’s my thing, if you are gay, and want to marry a woman for whatever reason, fine. I don’t care what you do with your life; however, stick with it. Be prepared to honor that decision, and the family you create. Using a woman to "save face" is one of the most offensive, ball-less things you can do.
