From the recording Water

“I do not know, my lord, what I should think.”
“I’ll teach you. Think yourself a baby.”
In a way I believe that Polonius can be manifested in words and definitions just as much as he can be a human being. Becoming the slave to “I am” is just as dangerous and soul-depleting as any manipulative authority figures. We lose ourselves trying to describe who we are rather than being who we are, to the point that we almost become caricatures of these words and what they supposedly represent. All the world is a stage…That may be a different play, but draining the pond doesn’t always have to be so tragic.
“So, are you?”
“I am many things.”

Lyrics

Does anybody out there need a second chance? Is anybody out there on their own?Knowing that you’re almost out of ropedoesn’t make it easier to know thatfalling is the hardest part of letting go I know what you saidbut I know you didn’t mean ityes I heard what you saidbut you know that I won’t crawlbecause I’m one part masochistic andmy other needs a faceliftand I’m out here on my ownlooking inward I’mfishing for Ophelia with nothing else to say I went ahead and bookeda three day cruise on Acherona ten pound line should reel him ingravity does not compare with his beautyHow would you like to go for a swim? Wait for the summertimeI’ll be there soonAnd in the summertimeWe will bloom I would like to go on my own termsThe girl with the shiny poisoned pearlsays that she could help me with the paperwork I know what you saidbut I know you didn’t mean ityes I heard what you saidbut you know that I won’t crawlbecause I’m one part masochistic andmy other needs a faceliftand I’m out here on my ownlooking inward I’mfishing for Ophelia
